Take a journey into the past with Kennet Horse Boat Company's horse drawn canal cruises. Environmentally friendly and quite unique, this traditionally painted canal boat is keeping some of our nineteenth-century English heritage alive. Set in Berkshire's beautiful countryside on the Kennet & Avon Canal, the Horse Drawn Barge is based in the pretty village of Kintbury near Hungerford. Our horses are bedecked in traditional harness, the boat is built in the style of the 1800’s and decorated in the bright colours of ‘roses and castles’ canal design. Ideal for coaches, tour groups, we can accommodate 53 passengers, catering available to pre-order and a licensed bar on-board.
Self-drive narrowboat available for day hire for smaller groups – max. 8 passengers.
