Sustainable info:

We have good public transport links, and walking and cycle routes, (Thames Path, Capital Ring). We are a short bus ride from the Elizabeth Line, Piccadilly Line, District Line, Overground, and GWR and South-West Trains.

There is a Hilton hotel on site with electric-car charging points

Accessible for all info:

The gardens and Great Conservatory are mostly wheelchair, pram, and mobility scooter accessible (about ¾ of the park has tarmac paths, the other paths are grass or gravel). However, as a garden, there can sometimes be muddy areas, so please keep to the paths when possible.

The house is not fully accessible. Being a 500-year-old stately home, our building's structure and layout were not originally designed with modern accessibility standards in mind. There are some key challenges in making the property wheelchair accessible: The layout of the home, including narrow doorways, steep staircases, and uneven flooring, poses significant challenges for accessibility, and as a Grade-1 Listed Building there are regulations that restrict major alterations to the original structure. This includes limitations on modifications that would impact the external appearance or interior layout.
